This sculpture is a combination of two ginger Murciana-Granadina goats called Artemesia and Hortensia that we keep on our small holding. It is made of local wine barrel staves, and the metal rings that keep them together.
The sculpture has been editioned in bronze, and the first cast sold to a client in Germany. She stands in a meadow near Munich, and has been renamed Amalthea, the goat who in Greek mythology suckled the infant Zeus.
