The sculpture ‘War’, created by Sophie Dickens is now owned by the Region Toscana. A work already much admired by the Tuscan public at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino on the occasion of the La Toscana delle Donne 2024 Festival. The commercial value of the work was assessed as appropriate. President Giani is therefore pleased to extend heartfelt thanks to the artist Sophie Dickens, so linked to our region. Committing the Institution to safeguard and enhance the aforementioned work, which will remain the property of the Tuscany Region, in places suitable for its public enjoyment. The work is now permanently in Palazzo Strozzi Sacrati. Seat of the Presidency of the Tuscany Region, in the Piazza Duomo 10 in Florence located on the ground floor of the building, in the antechamber of the Pegasus Room, space deemed suitable in terms of safety.
